Just got the word that our work for Sony.com has been nominated again for a Webby! Last year we took home the Best Home Page category; this year we are shooting for the Best Visual Design/Function category. Sony was also named an official honoree for Best Navigation/Structure. And if that wasn’t enough, two of our mobile design projects were nominated in the Inaugural Webby Mobile categories! Our work for Hearst is up for Entertainment and Zannel for Social Networking.
These nominations also put us in the running for the People’s Voice awards in their respective categories. If you have a moment, head over and cast your vote for us! We are going up against some tough competition so every vote counts.

Our flagship project with the Sony Corporation of America is Sony.com, the gateway to the World of Sony. We overhauled the site’s design, functionality and build, revising it to better reflect Sony’s brand values of exemplary design and innovation. The site supports divisions as diverse as Sony Pictures, Sony Electronics and PlayStation through adaptable promotions and placement areas – all presented in a dynamic Flash interface. We also redesigned 200+ corporate site pages and backed it all with a custom CMS.
The annual madhouse that is the Consumer Electronics Show shines a critical spotlight on the consumer electronics industry. Sony uses the event to announce major new developments and build momentum for the coming year. For the third year in a row, Sisu worked with Sony to develop a dynamic, responsive site to satisfy the needs and rabid interest of the press and early adopters on-location and remotely. Users can learn about hot new products and initiatives, take a tour of the booth and keep up to date reading the daily blog entries.
