Bongo Comics, home to comic incarnations of The Simpsons, Futurama and Life in Hell, has made its online debut! The Sisu team designed and developed a fun, Bongo-rific site for all the world to enjoy – and just in time for Comic-Con 2010. Coincidence? I think not.

Sisu, Inc. is an award-winning multidisciplinary design studio located in Los Angeles. We are looking for a fabulous Drupal Developer.

Sisu is a friendly, tight knit group of talented individuals. For nearly eight years, we’ve found success by delivering intelligent, engaging design and technology solutions for the web, mobile and print. Our clients span many industries including entertainment, media and emerging technologies. Our diverse client roster includes Sony, Paramount, ABC, Warner Bros. Records, Hearst and more.

We are currently looking for a Drupal developer to help out with some high profile Drupal Projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
• A demonstrated ability to implement end-to-end custom Drupal sites
• Comfortable with custom module development
• Familiar with Drupal 6, particularly the updated views module
• Source control experience, particularly Subversion
• Facile with various methods of multi-site configuration
• Experience with the Services module as it pertains to Flash communication (AMFPHP)
• Experience with MySQL data import and export from and to multiple sources/configurations
• Hands-on knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML, AJAX, and XML
• Experience translating PSD designs into code
• Knowledge of developing cross platform/browser compatibility in all A-Grade Browsers
• Adherence to web standards and object-oriented programming

We’re fired up about the launch of the inaugural site for our friends at goodkin. The tag line says it all – family living and modern style. The site is already packed with fun and relevant blog articles, videos, photo galleries, commentary and a lively discussion.

To make it all happen, we worked closely with our excellent clients to mold the site and the business plan. A Sisu candy shell and Drupal backend bring a fresh new idea to life!

We have moved to new digs in Culver City – 3737 Robertson Blvd., between Venice Blvd. and Washington Blvd. We now have our own building so look for the Sisu badge adorning the building soon!
