Bongo Comics Hits the Web

Bongo Comics, home to comic incarnations of The Simpsons, Futurama and Life in Hell, has made its online debut! The Sisu team designed and developed a fun, Bongo-rific site for all the world to enjoy – and just in time for Comic-Con 2010. Coincidence? I think not.

We’re fired up about the launch of the inaugural site for our friends at goodkin. The tag line says it all – family living and modern style. The site is already packed with fun and relevant blog articles, videos, photo galleries, commentary and a lively discussion.

To make it all happen, we worked closely with our excellent clients to mold the site and the business plan. A Sisu candy shell and Drupal backend bring a fresh new idea to life!

We have moved to new digs in Culver City – 3737 Robertson Blvd., between Venice Blvd. and Washington Blvd. We now have our own building so look for the Sisu badge adorning the building soon!

Learning to Communicate: Strategies for Flash Integration with Drupal

Media-intensive sites attract users’ eyes and help create unique destinations that present content in intuitive ways. Balancing this need for a rich front-end presentation with a content management framework presents its own set of challenges and there’s no one way to skin this cat either. Should you develop an AMFPHP gateway and remotely query the database for content? What about an XML output? How can you be sure that the Flash content is indexed by search engines?

Join Sisu and Mstudio for a technical session on best practices and decision-making processes for freeing content from Drupal to utilize within Flash. We’ll take you through examples that demo various methods currently available to help you determine what will work best.
